
Ky-mani is a rising star with his untitled third album. Ky-mani is a native of Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend and Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". Being a person who lives up his title, each album and travel is an adventure. The Journey was his first music venture. He had a broad vision and searched for his niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum and exploring his diverse skills. As of 2001 Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) A "traditional" reggae record was out, which revealed a more mature Ky-Mani. Many More Roads and The Journey received a great reception across the globe. The album established Ky-Mani's position as an independent artist. Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae , interspersed along with hip hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz.
