Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress from America. She achieved prominence during the latter part of the 1970s and into the early the 1980s by playing recurring roles in several TV shows that she often portrayed the image of a glamourous woman. Her career in the field began in 1973 when she played Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared on the primetime soap opera Dallas as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade before taking a lead role in the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). In 1984, she appeared as a co-star in ABC's brief time-slot soap Paper Dolls. Between 1985 and 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild also appeared in the theater, and in the role of a guest on TV programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. The actress was considered for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 because of her character in this program. She is a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
